HISTORY

The Barley mow inn pub building dates back to 1680. In 1680, the building was then a drovers cottage.

The pub is supposedly haunted by an unearthly dark shape which hovers in the bar area. No one is too sure what exactly it is or what it represents.

Staff and customers have said they are sure glasses on the bar area have moved across the bar when left alone.
