The cold image we caught in thin air at St Andrews church on thermal imager. It looks like the shape of a man.

Snapshot - 1

History and ghosts of St Andrews Church.

St Andews church in Kinson is the oldest Church in Bournemouth. Kinson is also the home of many smugglers.

The area was historically used by the smuggler Isaac Gulliver whose men would carry the contraband up from The Chines in Poole Bay and take it across Cranborne Chase to be distributed to patrons all over Southern England. Gulliver had several properties in the area; however, all of the contraband were stored in the tower of St Andrew's Church (the marks of the ropes used to haul it up can still be seen in the soft sandstone walls of the tower) and in several stone graves in the churchyard which were constructed for this purpose and never saw a coffin.

Also in the churchyard is the grave of one Robert Trotman, who was killed when trying to land contraband on the shore near Poole. Smugglers at the time were regarded by some as folk heroes, as they circumvented high government taxes on goods such as alcohol, tobacco, etc. The presence of this grave openly in the churchyard, with its rhyming elegy to the deceased, is an interesting comment on the social status at the time of people who were technically criminals.

Some have reported in hearing weird noises such as footsteps, but when they look back theres nothing there. Some of the locals believe that some of the smugglers are still here haunting the underground tunnels, so now we're going to investigate and find out if St Andrews Church is really haunted.

  1. The infrared images are intreaging indeed. I suspect the image of the person laying on his or her back may have somthing to do with a center point for collecting energy. I've used simular equipment, and have never seen anything like that. His entire body should be visible. Thats just crazy and exciting at the same time.

  2. I've found in my own personal investigations that old cemitaries are ok for research, but have had many more successes invesigating places that are near where lots of live people activity exsists. Shopping malls, busy parking structures, gas stations, street fairs, large farmers markets, theaters, pubs, and resturants are teeming with spiritual activity. Ghosts and demons like being around living people. The ones I find in cemitaries or very old quiet places, are usually the ones that prefer to be left alone.
I have found some spirits that seem to be attached to some old abandoned places because they are either waiting for someone or have some sort of personal buisness there. Some may be there because of a dementional doorway or portal that exsists there.
I find the men doing this investigation to be very respectiful and polite in their attempts to make contact. I like that, and find its really the best method to draw on more good spirits. I look forward to viewing the rest of their videos. They have some very impressive skills in feild research. I think a little more debunking needs to take place on some activity, but for the most part think their great. I love listening to them talk in their old english accents, and find them very pleasent in their manorisums.
Best of luck, from Pismo Beach California
